Our whole team works with all canon cameras and lens. Yes, we always have at least two cameras with us on a wedding day.

What kind of equipment do you use? Do you have backups?

We believe in romantic lighting, interesting architecture and an artistic approach to natural chemistry. We never interrupt a moment. or pose situations that are already so magical. We are observers with limited intrusion only when it is desired to achieve a particular artistic vision. If you're looking for the best wedding photography & films, look no further.

What is your photographic style?

The Harris Co team is always dressing to impress. We like to show up to your big day looking like all of your other guests! We enjoy showing up to your event looking upsale and sleek for many reasons. One being that if anyone from our team is captured in the back of a photo or video and we are unable to talk them out, we want to make sure that they apper to look like one of your guests at the wedding and not your photographer. 

What attire will the photographer and their assistants wear?

YES! One of our core values is getting to know our couples on a personal level and only matching them with a team we feel would be the best fit! If you have a particular connection with one of our photographers, we will absolutely assign them for your date, if they haven’t already been booked. Part of what sets us apart is the consistency our team has when it comes to documenting & processing weddings. Because all of our photographers are personally trained by Makayla and Dave, you can be confident, regardless of who is assigned to your wedding day, it will be captured with the utmost care and creativity. 

Do I get to choose my lead photographer?

Each year we notice brides are booking further and further out from their wedding date. The one year mark is usually when most brides tend to buckle down and get all of their vendors booked. If you would like to get ahead of that wave, we would suggest a few months before your one year mark!

How far in advance should I book photo and video for my wedding?

Two! We always have two shooters on a wedding day. There are so many reasons we love our second shooters, one being how they are able to capture the candid in between moments that the lead shooter may not notice as they are capturing you and your spouse. 

How many photographers will I have on my wedding day?

We’ve worked with many amazing creative professionals over the years! When you book with us we provide a comprehensive list of some of our favorite local creatives in our Wedding Experience Guide.  

Are there any other vendors you recommend?

Our collections range from 8-10 hours of coverage. We find that this is more than enough time to capture your day from finishing touches on hair and makeup through cake cutting and breaking it down on the dance floor! We will never leave a wedding without checking with you to make sure we’ve captured everything you’d like, and you are always able to purchase additional coverage. How many hours of coverage will I really need? 

As a brand we recognize the power and importance of print. We want you to walk away with a tangible heirloom from your wedding day; one of the most important days of your life, and the start of your story together. We know that you will be able to cherish these memories and share them with loved ones for years to come. This is why all of our collections contain at least one album.

What if we don’t need/want an album?

We build out our collections based on our most popular offerings and the feedback we receive from past and current clients. We have found that these collections typically fit the wants and needs of each of our couples, however we understand each event is unique and are happy to customize a collection based on your needs.

Do you build custom collections? 

We believe in the importance of shooting an engagement session with all of our couples. This session provides us insight into your natural chemistry, helps us to understand how the two of you interact in front of the camera, and allows us plan for your big day! Getting to know our couples on a personal level is one of the reasons we’re able to capture the imagery that we do. For these reasons we include the engagement session as a complimentary option in all of our wedding collections. In the event that you are unable to use the session, we are happy to provide an hour of additional coverage to your wedding day in lieu of doing the shoot. We cannot, however, swap the session for other products or services.

Can we eliminate the engagement session or swap it out for something else?

There is no added charge for weddings within 75 miles of 12866. Travel fees are $2.50/mile beyond that radius. This fee also applies to engagement sessions scheduled outside of this same radius. Additionally, if the event is beyond a 2 hour drive each way (based on GPS or Google Maps), hotel accommodations for all HCO staff members will be required, and will be the responsibility of the client.

Do you charge travel fees?
